Ellie Coburn is a Southern California based freelance lifestyle photographer currently traveling the world (off and on) producing her documentary on the global orphan crisis. The Lucy Project is set to release in December 2017.

When she's not traveling, she resides in Downtown San Diego, California where she studies as a psychology undergrad and works as a photographer specializing in family and children photography.

Ellie sits on the board of several suicide prevention and mental health advocacy non-profits and works in alliance with several outreach programs committed to rehabilitating depressed teenagers and young adults.

Previously the CEO of the Speak Now Organization for young women empowerment, Ellie tells it like it is when it comes to suicide prevention, bullying, body image and mental health.

When she's not at work she's at play with her beautiful best friends, her incredible family, and her rad church community. She can be found writing her seventh attempt at her first novel, hanging out at the beach, and smothering her fur baby (dog), Willa, with entirely too much love.

While she began her love affair with the internet community as a lifestyle blogger in 2011, her roots in the blogging community hold strong nearly half a decade later. After a year-long hiatus, only now has Ellie felt it on her heart to share her personal story again.

This blog is a collection of her thoughts, feelings and adventures during her early adulthood.

She hopes you'll grab a cup of tea and read along sometime.
